How sad it is to see that Lora has left this world, but I knew some time ago, before I sold Ken's house, she frequently spoke of being ready to go. She was a lovely lady, and a great neighbor. She certainly left an impression on my mind as to what a lady should be. I know her daughters kept track of her, and saw that her needs were met. I hadn't seen her since I started spending my winters in NC, but I will remember her as the lovely lady next door. Doris Matteson Glazier

I remember when I met your mom Shirley. She was such a spunky woman even though she was in her 90's. She left a fond inpression in my mind. Michael and I are so sorry to hear about her passing. Our hearts and prayers go out to the whole family during this time.

Shirley and Sharon - I was so sorry to see the notice of your Mother's passing. I have fond memories of her back when we were young and she helped with Girl Scouts. Over the years, she remained a good friend to my Mom and I always saw her in church whenever I visited. I last saw her at the church's Spring Dress Show the spring before my Mom passed. She always remembered me and spoke. She is now in Heaven with my Mom and her friends and probably having a cup of tea with them. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Janet (Ladd) Maitland
