Celia Herbert

Celia (Warchol) Herbert, 98, of Cicero, passed peacefully on Friday, at the Cottages of Garden Grove.

She raised her family in Cicero with her late husband John.  Celia is a founding member of St.Francis of Assisi Church and a member of their Altar Rosary Society. She loved to bake, cook,  and spend time in Daytona Beach, FL.

Celia is predeceased by her husband in 2009.  She is survived by her children Paul (Candy), James (Deb), and Patty Eldred; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A Calling Hour will be held on  Tuesday, 11 am to 12 pm, at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Bridgeport followed by a Funeral Mass at 12 noon.  Spring burial will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery, Cleveland. Contributions may be made to Bridgeport Food Pantry, 229 Yates Street, E. Syracuse, NY 13057.
