Curt P. LaForce, 73 formerly of Bridgeport, passed away Sunday June 5, 2016.

Curt was born March 29, 1943 in Weedsport, NY to Richard and Alida LaForce. He graduated from Weedsport High School in 1961. Curt served in the United States Navy in Vietnam. After returning to the area he worked for Carrier Corp in Syracuse until he became disabled in 1968.

Curt was a musician and magician and loved to  play pool, fish and cook.

Surviving are his daughter Tammy LaForce, grandson Shaun LaForce, brothers Hal (Monique) LaForce, Bob (Judy) LaForce, sisters Mary Tingeris and Penny (Mel) Hobart, sister in laws Carol and Rosie LaForce.  He was predeceased by his brothers Jimmy and Mel.

Calling Hours will be Thursday June 9, 2016 from 11-1pm at Traub Funeral Home, Bridgeport. The Funeral Service will follow at 1pm. Burial will be in Bridgeport Cemetery.
