Gerald L. Grau, 74, of West Monroe,  passed away on Wednesday October 11th at home surrounded by his family. Jerry was born in Loweville, NY on February 4, 1943, the son of the late Gerald Grau and Pauline Farney. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He retired from Penn Can Road Materials in 2003 as an Paver operator. Jerry enjoyed the outdoors, winters in Florida visiting it's many antique flea markets, hunting, gun shows, and especially time with friends and family and Daisy his beagle at the Tug Hill Camp.

Jerry is survived by: his sons: Jerry M. Grau of Piscataway, NJ. and Trayne (Lizette) Grau of West Monroe, NY, daughter: Tracey Fisher- Rodriguez of Valatie,NY, sisters: Janet Monnett (Brownie) of Beaver Falls, NY and Alice Moore (Bill) of Croghan, NY, Grandchildren: Jeremy Grau, Hunter Wickham, Dylan Bryant, Melinda Grybas-Goldstein, Zoe T. Grau, and Dane Mento, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family wishes to express their thanks and gratitude to the staff at Traub Funeral Home for their support and guidance through this difficult time. 

 Calling hours will be, 11 am to 1 pm Saturday October 21st at  Marathon U.M.C with a funeral service to follow.
