Mr. Harbans Singh, age 95, of Liverpool, NY passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 23, 2016. 

Born in Katli in Ropar, Punjab, India, he immigrated to the United States in 1987 to join his son Narinder S. Kabarwal (Kuldeep) and his family.  He was actively involved with the Sikh Temple in Liverpool, NY; he was a gifted speaker who delivered lectures on history and performed prayers for the Sikh community. 

He is survived by his son of Liverpool, NY, two daughters who reside in India, nine grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.  

Calling hours are Friday, September 2nd, from 5-7 pm at Traub Funeral Home, 684 Main St, Central Square, NY.  Prayer Service, with cremation to follow, will take place on Saturday, September 3rd, at 10 am, at Traub Funeral Home with services to follow at the Sikh Foundation of Syracuse on 4632 Wetzel Road in Liverpool, NY.
