Margaret "Lee" Whittaker

Margaret "Lee" Whittaker, 88, of Central Square, passed away on Friday after a long illness. She was born in Chicago, IL on March 6, 1930. Margaret worked as a Security Director for many department stores. She was an avid antique collector and was particularly proud of her post card collection. Margaret had a love and was highly knowledgeable of classic movies and their stars. She and Bill were known at most local restaurants as a loving, compassionate couple, who loved conversation. Margaret is predeceased by two sisters and a brother.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Bill Whittaker; children, Scott (Jeann) Whittaker, Donna McGregor, Bill (Sandy) Whittaker; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be Saturday, April 14, 10 AM - 12 PM at Traub Funeral Home, Central Square.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 14, 12:30 PM at Central Square Community Church.
