Maureen F. Kozlowski, 75, of Central Square, passed away peacefully on Tuesday surrounded by family. She was born and raised in Boston, MA. Maureen was a loving mother and grandmother who loved giving anything she could to family and friends. She recently retired from A&E Transportation where she served as a bus monitor for many years; Maureen loved her job, and the children she helped, as if they were her own. She was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Margaret Furber; her husband, Robert Kozlowski; sons, Edward and Stephen Kennedy; and sister, Eleanor MacNeil. 

She is survived by her children, Sheila Kowanes, Michael Kennedy, Patrick (Jennifer) Kennedy, John (Amanda) Kennedy, Maureen (Jim) Douglas, Dean (Sara) Kozlowski; daughter-in-law, Joan Kennedy; sisters, Anne Clancy, and Peggy McIntyre; 21 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Monday, 4 to 6 pm, at Traub Funeral Home, 684 N. Main St. Central Square, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday 10 am, at Divine Mercy Parish in Central Square. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Upstate University Hospital's Palliative Care Unit.
