Naomi M (Marion) Johnson
November 6, 1920 ~ January 21, 2016 (age 95) 95 Years OldNaomi M. Johnson, 95, of Syracuse, passed away with family at her side, on Thursday. Naomi was a strong and determined lady who loved to laugh, and enjoyed time with family and friends. She was a graduate of Vocational High School and Powelson Business School. Naomi worked for 20 years, with four different principals as secretary at Roosevelt Jr. High School in the city. An ace card player, she also loved music and dance, and enjoyed her time at their camp on Pillar Point, where she swam daily at 4:00.
She was predeceased by her parents, Hilda and Pete Marion, her brother, Peter Marion, her “forever darling” husband, Milton Johnson, Sr., and her son, Milton Johnson, Jr. whom she will join in heaven.
Surviving her are her children, Marion (Dick) Lindsley, Marty Jaynes, and Mark (Debra) Johnson. She was so proud of her ten grandchildren and her ten great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, 4-5:30 pm, at Brewerton United Methodist, 5395 Orangeport Rd., Brewerton. Services will follow.
