Sharon W. Sagneri

Sharon Sagneri, 79, passed away on January 28, 2018 at Oswego Hospital, surrounded by family. 

Born on June 16,1938, Sharon lived all of her life in the Oswego area. She graduated from local schools and later in life graduated from Oswego County BOCES as a Medical Secretary. For many years she was employed as a Nurse's Aide at various nursing homes as well as working in a physicians office until her retirement. Sharon enjoyed traveling with her family and her many trips with her daughter and son-in-law in their motor home. 

Sharon is predeceased by her parents, Warren and Dorothy Crane and husbands William Sweeting,Jr. and Phillip Sagneri, all of Oswego. She is survived by her daughter Brenda Rice; son-in-law David Rice, of whom she thought of as her son; and “grand dog” Winnie, whom she was fond of and loved her many visits with her at the nursing home. 

Per Sharon’s request there will be no calling hours and burial will be at the convenience of her family.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to:
