Sonia S. Donegan, 83, of Parish, NY passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017 at home surrounded by family. Sonia was born May 7, 1934 in Syracuse, NY to Kurt and Clara Liehs. She married Edward Donegan in 1954. Sonia had a great sense of humor, she loved her family and loved to read. Sonia attended Cortland College and received a degree from Maria Regina College. She worked at Parish Elementary School and Mexico Academy High School.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years Edward W. Donegan of Parish, her children; Edward (Blenda) Donegan, Jr. of Parish, Michael (Brenda) Donegan of West Monroe, Steven (Diana) Donegan of Indiana, Tracy (Joe) Lindovski of Lacona; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Cynthia Liehs, Kathleen (John) O’Hara of Mattydale and brother Eric (Gloria) Liehs of California.

There will be no services.
