William G. Albro,92, of Lakeport, passed peacefully on Friday, with loving family by his side.

Bill served with the US Army during WWII and retired from Conrail after 42 years of service.  

Bill is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 72 years, Violet Albro; children Christine Dodge, Richard Albro, and William (Annette) Albro; brother Gordon Albro; sister Joann Tolhurst; and several grandchildren including his beloved granddaughter Morgan.

Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, 5 to 7 pm at Traub Funeral Home, Inc., 7975 Rt. 31, Bridgeport. Services will be held privately.
