Jefferson George Duryee, 75, passed peacefully at home surrounded by his children on March 20, 2024. He was able to live for 5 years after diagnosis of Prostate Cancer. Those who knew him would say that he had a passion for personal growth and a large heart. He made great strides in his personal development during his last years.
Jefferson was a retired Army Reserve Veteran and retired from Clinton's Ditch. He enjoyed spending time with friends, attending the Renaissance Festival and visiting the Midway Drive-In. He was also was a beloved member of the First Baptist Church of Central Square.
He is survived by his children Amie (Shayne) Coffin and Johnathon (Jessica) Duryee, grandchildren, Emma-Lee, Luciano, Liam and Tyler, his ex-partner Linda Duryee.
He is predeceased by his parents George and Adelaide Duryee, his partner Mary-Lou Jesmer and granddaughter Casey. He also left behind many close friends who he loved just as much as they loved him.
Jefferson chose to be cremated with no services but he would encourage anyone who wishes to celebrate his life to do so.
