Albert C. Burlingame, 76, of Brewerton passed away on Tuesday February 13, 2018. He was born on May 20, 1941 in Syracuse to Albert W. and Margret Burlingame. Albert spent most of his life in Central Square. While in high school he helped launch the radio station WCSQ. After finishing high school Albert joined the U.S. Navy Sea Bees. He spent 3 years there before joining the U.S. Army for another 3 years. Albert was honorably discharged and went on to be an independent truck driver for the next 30 years.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Betty Harwood; daughters Marge (Chris) Nellis of Atlanta, GA. and June (Hanson) Myers of Clay, NY.; sons Albert H. (Christine) of Lake Worth, FL., George (Christine) of Liverpool and Dennis Burlingame of Inwood, W. VA.; grandchildren Alicia, Kenny, Kayla, Jenna, Cassidy, and Courtney; great-grandchildren Rayann, J.D., and Ryker; several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may call from 10 am to 11 am Saturday February 17th at Traub Funeral Home 684 N. Main St. Central Square. There will be a Funeral Service immediately following at 11 am.
