Alfred P. Santorelli Sr.

Alfred P. Santorelli, 97, of Lakeport, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019 in Huntsville Alabama following a brief illness.

Born to the late Mary and Frank Santorelli, Alfred grew up in the Syracuse area and moved to Lakeport in 1960.  He was an Army Veteran and worked as a manufacturing engineer mostly for General Electric. Alfred loved hunting, fishing and golfing in his spare time and especially after his retirement.  Most recently, Alfred loved playing cards with whoever he could find to play at the American Legion Park and Rec Center in Chittenango.  Besides his parents, Alfred was pre-deceased by his wife Lena in 1981.

Surviving are his three sons, Alfred (Sam) Santorelli, Daniel (Rayma) Santorelli and Paul (Sandy) Santorelli; his grandchildren, Gina, Peter, Lisa, Daniel, Corey, and Allee; 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be 12 – 2:00pm Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Traub Funeral Home, 7975 State Route 31, Bridgeport with 2pm services immediately following.

Burial will be in the spring in Pine Plains Cemetery, N. Manlius, NY.
