Andrew M. Minota, 55, of West Monroe, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, October 2, 2017.  

Andrew was born June 26, 1962 in Oswego.  He attended Phoenix and Sandy Creek Central Schools.  Andrew enjoyed hunting and fishing along with working on many types of automobiles and tractors.

Andrew is predeceased by his adopted parents John and Murial Minota; father and mother-in-law Olin and Marilyn Lovelss; and sister-in-law Karen Loveless.  He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Debra Loveless Minota; father and stepmother Abram and Rae Allen; mother and stepfather Mary and Bill Komm; grandfather Jack Killam; sister Yvonne (Wade) Brown; brother Patrick Allen; half-brother Jack (Lynette) Allen; half-sisters Tina (John) Gibbs, Elizabeth (Brian) Burnett, Judy Philips, Jodi (Ron) Babcock, and Amy Lewis Montesi; adopted sisters Linda Harrington, Judy Petrie, Constance (Mike) Root, Christine (Brett) McBean, and Sally (Mike) Karkruff; adopted brother Stephen Minota; in-laws Lucinda Cox, Diane (Alan) Dankberg, Patricia Csigi, Nancy Self and David Loveless; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; and he will be sorely missed by his four-footed friend, Chester.

Calling Hours will be held on Monday, 4 to 7 pm, at Traub Funeral Home, 684 N. Main St., Central Square, with a Funeral Service immediately following, at 7 pm, with Rev. Mike Thesier officiating.  A private burial will be held in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery, Parish.
