Carmella Anna (Diana) Barrisford, 58 of Parish died as a result of a car accident Sept. 2, 2017. Retired from North Syracuse School district. She was an avid quilter and Yankees fan. She belonged to the Volkswagen Club of Central New York. She loved camping, crocheting, board games and puzzles.  She was always excited to spend time just being together with people and enjoying life. Her smile was infectious.

She is survived by her dedicated and loving husband of 39 years, Michael Barrisford; her mother, Charlotte Diana of Bridgeport; sisters Ellie Bennett (Bob) of Brewerton; Linda Diana of Bridgeport; and Pati Pearse (Scott) of Central Square. Sister-In-Law Sue Johnson (William) of Buffalo, Nieces Desiree’ Bennett and Danielle Leader (Nate) and Julie Fix; Nephew Andrew Bennett and 2 great nieces Jasmine Nason and Emilia Armani. 2 great nephews Robin Dening, Brendan Fix and several cousins.
