David Alan Dann, 52, of Palermo, passed peacefully at home on Monday, July 22, 2019, with his family by his side. David was born on December 23, 1966 to James and Carol (Milligan) Dann. David attended Mexico Academy High School.
We have lost our beloved brother, our hero. He loved life and lived it to the fullest, despite the many hurdles. He was the kindest person; always had a smile; kisses to give and loved his hugs. He treated everyone with respect, grace and dignity. He was the most wonderful person that ever graced the face of this earth. He loved his nieces and nephews as his own. He enjoyed NASCAR, the County Fair, the Demo Derby, good movies, and country music.
Besides his parents and grandparents, he was predeceased by his brother Harold Dann, Aunt Mary (and Uncle Ed) Collins, Uncle Joseph Welch, Uncle James Milligan, Uncle Raymond (and Aunt Alice) Dann and nephew John Michael Whalen.
He is survived by his siblings, all of Palermo; James (Jane) Dann, Thomas (Brenda) Dann, Patricia (David) Redhead, Daniel (Mary) Dann, Gary Dann, and Diane (Michael) Whalen.
Their children, James (Ericka) Dann Jr. , Jeremy (Jessica) Dann, Jason (Kristina) Dann, Jesse Dann; Thomas J. (Jessica) Dann, Amy (Arran) Dann, Mindy (Erik) Heath, Shelly (Adam) Pray; Raine Dufrane, Chris (Amanda) Redhead, David (Jessica) Redhead, Jennifer (Luke) Bickford, Brian (Kayla) Redhead, Andrew (Erica) Redhead; Patience ( Jonathan) Cronk, Quillon (Brianna) Dann, Autumn (Joe) Dann; Brandi Usher and Amber Whalen; 36 great nieces and nephews; Uncle John (Mary) Milligan, Aunt Karin Welch, many cousins, our extended family including Chris Pine, the Pettit Family and friends.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation for the wonderful care he was given over the last several years to Dr. Heather Finger and staff, St. Joseph’s Hospital and their Respiratory Department, and all of his many home care nurses over the last 20 years.
