Delores E Murphy

Delores "De" Murphy, 82, of Hastings, passed peacefully in her sleep on Thursday.

Born June 26, 1937 in Wheeling, WV to Willis Eugene and Lura Downs. De later moved to NY where she married John "Irish Jack" Murphy. They owned and operated Murphy's Trackside in Liverpool for 27 years.

De is predeceased by her husband John and brother Robert Green. She is survived by her children Ed (Joe-Anna) Taylor, John (Shari) Murphy, and Lauri (Chris) Murphy; siblings John, Deborah, and Kathleen; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday, 5 pm to 7 pm, at Traub Funeral Home, Inc., 684 N. Main St., Central Square with a Funeral Service to follow at 7 pm. Burial will be private in Hastings Cemetery.
