Dolores “Dee” Rupley, loving mother, sister and proud grandmother passed away peacefully on July 25th at Fort Sanders Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee with her brother Gary by her side.
Dolores was born to Ernest and Betty Mohr on March 13, 1954 in Syracuse New York. Growing up in Bridgeport, she graduated from Cicero High School in 1972. Dee then spent several years in Minoa working for MONY and CSC as a computer programmer before retiring in the late 90’s. After marrying Marty, Dee found herself heading south. She spent time in several states, Texas, Arkansas, and Florida to name a few, before settling in to her home in Strawberry Plains Tennessee. Dee loved her family, especially her grandchildren. In her spare time, she loved to travel, enjoy the attractions near her home, camp, fish, play games online with family and friends and spend as much time with her family as she could.
Dolores was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Betty Mohr, and nephew Gordon Bryan. She is survived by her son Adam Greiner (Jennifer); Husband Martin Rupley; Sisters, Janet Harris (Paul) and Wendy Venton (Jerry); Brother Gary Mohr; two grandchildren Betty and August Greiner; nieces Alexis Suarez (Corey), Gabrielle Kenney (Briley) and Stefawna Welch (Nico); Nephew Paul Harris; and several great nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2019, from 11 am to 1 pm, at Traub Funeral Home, Inc., 7975 Rt. 31, Bridgeport, with a Funeral Service to follow at 1:00 pm.
