Donald Martin, Jr. Obituary

Donald Martin Jr, born on May 13, 1977 passed away unexpectedly at home on January 2, 2020.

He was predeceased by his grandparents Blanche and Howard Martin. He is survived by his parents Robin and Donald Martin Sr, his sister Amy Martin Savage, children Dustin Baker, Kaitlyn Baker and Donuvin Martin, his grandson Jayce Baker and niece Serena Bardin.

Don enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing and working on vehicles and tinkering in his garage.  He also frequented the Brewerton and Fulton raceway.  He loved being a part of his son Donuvin's pit crew when he raced go karts. Don always tried to help his friends and family any chance he got. He never liked being alone so he was always helping someone or hanging out with his friends and family.
A few of his famous sayings were, "you never like any of my friends", "I didnt come up here to listen to your crap", and "pack one".  He would always ask his sister Amy what she was doing and she would reply "working". He in return would say " your always working alot".
He will be missed by many!

" your wings were ready but our hearts were not"
" our family chain is broken, nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the links shall join again"
"You will forever live in our hearts and stay alive in our memories"

Services will take place on January 19,2020 at 1pm at the First Congressional Church located on rte 104 in New Haven, New York. There will be a remembrance reception to follow. All are welcome to attend.  If you would like to bring a dish to pass, feel free.
