Douglas Eugene Bristol, I, 61, of Parish, NY, passed away peacefully with his loving wife, Jane, by his side on September 21, 2019. Doug went to be with the Lord! He lost his battle with cancer.

Doug enjoyed his Keystone beer, cutting firewood, and his loud trucks. Spending time with his family and friends was his favorite pastime.

Doug is predeceased by his parents Roland "Bud" and Eva (Rollins) Bristol and brothers Gary and Todd. He is survived by his wife Jane; sons Douglas (Sarah), Wayne, Jeremy (Sonya), Joshua (Laycee), and Caleb; daughters Zoel (Nate) and Bethany (Mike); grandbabies Ayla and Liam, who lived with him; sisters Betty (Albert), Brenda (Jim), Rolanda (Bill), and Tina; brother Chris (Carol); several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and many great nieces and great nephews.

Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, 11 am to 1 pm, at the West Amboy Community Church in Williamstown, with a Funeral Service to follow at 1 pm. Donations may be made in Doug's name to West Amboy Community Church.
