Evelyn Lois Yager, 94, of Bridgeport, NY went to be with the Lord on Monday. Evelyn was born Nov. 21, 1922 in the town of Worth, NY. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond Lewis Hopkins, second husband Robert Yager, and grandson Kevin Hopkins. Evelyn married Raymond Hopkins who was from Georgia, while he was at Fort Drum for training. They were married on Dec. 12, 1942. Together they have six children: Raymond (Susan) Hopkins Jr., James (Cynthia) Hopkins, Jocelyn (Stephen) Proulx, Edwin Hopkins, Nadine (Kevin) Hunter, Mylene (Stephen) Ostrander. From this unity Evelyn has 17 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-children and their families. Evelyn's family was the reason of her being.
