Francis “Bud” Graser, 88, of Constantia, passed away early Friday morning at Bishop Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Syracuse.
Bud was born in Syracuse on October 2, 1930 to the late Frank and Iva Greene Graser. He attended Syracuse area schools. Upon the completion of his schooling, he went to work at and retired from the Oneida Lake Fish Cultural Station in Constantia as an environmental conservationist. During his career with the fish hatchery, he built a miniature scale trap net that is still on display at the hatchery. Bud enjoyed hunting and tinkering, he could fix nearly anything.
He is survived by his children, Gary Graser and Elaine Brooks of Williamstown, Robert and Diane Graser of Williamstown, Lori Graser and Hugh Meneilly of Constableville; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Bud was predeceased by his companion of 33 years, Marjorie Wilcox, and his daughter Terry Graser.
Per Bud’s wishes, his services will be private.
