To the entire Hale family, I am very sorry to hear about Harry's passing. I remember many enjoyable visits to the family home for 4H and other activities. He was a kind soul.

Sending my sincere condolences to family and friends. I worked with Harry in the mid-1970s in TR-4 and at Carlyle after that. He was one of the sweetest, most unpretentious people I ever met. While president of Carlyle, he'd run across the hall to my department with his shirt tail hanging out and his shoes off to discuss some new idea. He was the old-school management, the kind who took responsibility for things to heart. He wore a smile on his face, treated everyone well, and we all enjoyed working under him. I remember him fondly and he will be missed.
