Jerrold L. May

In honor and loving memory of my father, Jerrold Laurence May. Born January 29,1938, passed away August 31,2019. He leaves behind his loving and devoted companion. Miss Joan Longley of Central Square, N.Y. A son, Dennis.G.May ( wife, Maria, grandson Lance) of Seattle, Washington. And a daughter, Bonnie.E. May Bahus of Harviell, Missouri( husband Robert, 3 grand children and 3 great grandchildren.) Jerry was also a very caring friend to Joan’s children and was like a grandfather to her grandchildren: Jeffrey (Robin) Longley of Pulaski,NY, Rodger (Veronica) Longley of Land O Lakes ,Fl, Victoria (Frank) Selbe of Roanoke,VA, his sister Cheryl ( Rex) Harrington of Constantia,NY, his brother Russell (Marge) May of Arizona. Jerry was the original “Jack of all trades” and was employed by O.M. Edwards for 28 years.
Thank you daddy, for the loving, lasting legacy that your influence has contributed to not only your son, and I your daughter. But also through the successive generations of grandchildren and great grandchildren born into the family. Daddy, you left a lasting legacy of integrity, many profound lessons about tenacity-grit and hard work. A legacy of resiliency and faith and love. The kind of love that endured long, sacrificed much- but never once wavered or failed. But the flame of your love burned ever bright until the day you were called home. For you could but see in part only daddy. But now you know fully, clearly and perfectly an eternal, Perfect Love. “Faith, hope and love remain.
