John L. Klock Jr., 89, of Parish passed away on Thursday following a brief illness.
The last of all of his siblings, he was born to the late John Sr. and Marguerite Klock and lived most of his life in Syracuse until moving to Parish in 2001. A Navy Veteran, John retired from Carrier Corporation in 1986. He was a jack of all trades, but a private man, who loved fishing and being at camp at the St. Lawrence River. Most of all, John was a family man who dearly loved his family and will be missed.
Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Catherine; his children, Judith (Edward) O'Donnell, JoAnne (Ron Sr.) Rainess, and John III (Erin Schardt); many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Per his wish, services are private.
Contributions in his honor may be made to the charity of one's choice.
