John J. Reeves

John J. Reeves, 75, of Pennellville, passed away on Saturday after a brief illness.

John grew up in Chittenango area and worked with the DPW in Syracuse for 22 years before retiring. He met his wife Linda and they were married on Friday the 13th of July 1973. John loved fishing and hunting.

Surviving besides his wife, Linda, are his children: Donna Bessee, John Reeves, Tracy Jewett, Billy (Kathy) Jewett, Charlene (Dwain) Storrs, and Roberta (Grant) Fletcher; his siblings: Mary Moth, Pearl (Marvin) Brege, Niles Reeves, and Robert (Brenda) Reeves; 17 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Traub Funeral Home, Central Square, with a memorial service immediately following.
