Mildred (Cromp) McCombie

Mildred Millie McCombie, 96, of Chittenango, died peacefully,surrounded by her loving family on Monday,August 19,2019 ( her deceased husband’s birthday) following a brief illness.

Millie was born in Churbusco,NY one of 13 children  born to parents James and Bell (Perry) Cromp and has resided in Chittenango for most of her life.

Millie touched many lives in her 96 years so much so that people not related to her  called her "Mom". Millie Loved life and didn't need or want anything fancy. She enjoyed road trips through the woods seeing wildlife, bonfires,birds, her "babies" (dog,bird and goat). she especially enjoyed time with family and friends.

Mildred is survived by 5 sons Alex (Sherii), Paul (Tammy), Corky (Shirley), John, Tom (Sheila), a daughter Shawn (Tom Kelly, 16 grandchildren. 21 great-grandchildren,6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years  Alexander in 1998,  last surviving sibling Walter Cromp in 2018, son Wayne and daughters in law Linda and Bonnie.
