Myrtle “Fern” Corlis, 80, of Williamstown, NY, passed away on March 31st at home surrounded by family.  Born in Cicero, the daughter of the late Ernest and Gladys (Hoyt) Smith.  She was predeceased by her grandson, Rodney Buss; siblings, Richard Smith and Louise Getman. 

Fern is survived by her husband of 33 years, Ernest Corlis; son, James (Jenny) Potter Jr.; daughter, Lynn (Edward) Carista; step daughters, Kim (Matt Palmisano) Gass and Debbie (Dean) Myers; grandchildren, Marney Buss, Nicole Carista, James Potter III, Corey, Bradley, Amy, Tim Gass; one great grandson, Brayden; sisters, Beverly (Harvey) Geary, Linda Merritt, Helen Flanagan; brothers, Robert (Shirley) and Paul (Jody) Smith; several nieces nephews and cousins.

In keeping with Fern’s wishes, services will be private.
