Paul "Papa" Perks

Paul "Papa" Perks, 84, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Saturday, with loving family by his side.

Dad/Papa retired from New Process Gear after 36 years of service. He was a skilled wood-worker who built many different items including toy boxes for his grandchildren and wishing wells. If you needed him, he could be found mowing the neighbors lawn while riding on one of his many tractors. His greatest passion was his family. He was the best husband, father, grandfather "papa," brother, uncle, and friend.

Papa is predeceased by his loving wife, Mary who passed in 2016 and son Steven Perks in 1986. He is survived by his children Jeannie (David), Michael (Allie), Kathy (Frank), Karen (Al), Lori (Tim), and Jeff (Tracey); sisters Brenda Lanni and Linda Hotchkiss; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019, at 2:00 pm, at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Bridgeport.
