Randy Lee Derby

After a hard fight, Randy lost his battle against pancreatic cancer. He passed away at home, surrounded by his loved ones, on Sunday, March 24, 2019.

Randy enjoyed being outside, hunting, fishing, BBQ's with his friends and family and being out on the boat. Randy worked as a roofer for many years but was a true jack of all trades. He was ALWAYS willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it.

Randy is survived by the love of his life, Christine Derby; a daughter Sara (Chad) Rounds; a son David (Mindy) Brooks; and five grandchildren. Randy is also survived by five brothers, Willie Derby, Russell Derby, Gerald (Tammy) Derby, Paul (Chris) Derby, and Wayne Derby; and one sister Sharon (Jim) Walts. Randy leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. 

Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday, 4 pm to 7 pm, at Traub Funeral Home, 684 North Main Street, Central Square. Please leave any positive memories of Randy that you have. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to the charity of your choice.
