Thomas E. Ostrander Jr., 64, of Central Square passed peacefully at home on Wednesday.
Son of Thomas E. Ostrander Sr. and Rose Davis Ostrander, Tom owned his own construction business with his son Thomas III for over 30 years. He was also an active member of the Sons of the American Legion, Post 915. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing and gardening. Most of all, he loved his family who will miss him dearly. Tom was pre-deceased by his sister Sherrey Hull.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his daughter Jenna Stringham; his son Thomas III (Carrie); his grandchildren Arianna, Kameryn and Madison; his sister Shelley (Ross) Worley; his brothers, Jeffrey Scott (Kathy) Ostrander, Barry Ostrander, Matthew Ostrander and Brent (Sheilah) Ostrander; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will be 3-7pm Wednesday, December 11 at Traub Funeral Home, Central Square with 7pm services following.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Sons of the American Legion Post 915, or the Alzheimer's Association.
