William (Billy) DeTore Jr. of California passed away March 6th 2010, at the age of 46. Billy was the first-born son of William and Della DeTore of Bridgeport, New York. After graduating from Chittenango High School, Billy was employed by Chittenango School System. In the winter of 1988, he became a father to his beautiful daughter, Tamara Jean. He later traveled to California and worked for Pages Fountains. Billy’s infectious smile and gentle way will never be forgotten by his family and the loved ones he leaves behind here, and in California.

In Sacramento Ca. there is a Ghost Bike Memorial in Billy’s name. Standing silent watch where cyclists have died.
