Wilma A. (Thorp) Hayes

Wilma A. Hayes, 84, of Constantia passed away at her home surrounded by her children on September 26, 2018.

Wilma was born on October 20, 1933 the daughter of the late Willard and Erma Thorp. She grew up in Minoa and dedicated her life to her husband of 46 years, Hubert Hayes, and her seven children. An independent woman, Wilma loved gardening and watching hummingbirds, but she especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Hubert, her oldest son, Paul, and seven of her siblings.

Surviving are her three daughters, Deborah Corliss, Diane (William) Nipps, Pamela (Ken) Ryant and three sons, Gary (Cindy), Anthony, and Matthew (Rhonda); a sister, Alice Hayes; 18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on October 4, 2018 at Traub Funeral Home, Central Square from 4:00 – 7:00 PM.
