Alfred "Paulie" Gardner

Alfred P. "Paulie" Gardner, 80 of West Monroe, NY, passed away at home Monday, July 26,2021.

Paul was born August 12,1940 and was predeceased in death by his wife Clara Gardner and his sisters Elaine and Katie Gardner.  He is survived by his children Joy (Matthew )Carista, his son Donald Gardner, his sisters EvaJoy Folsom of Severn, MD, and Leslie Hickey of Canastota, New York. He also leaves three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Paul was a lifetime member of the South Shore Rod and Gun Club and was involved in all its endeavors. He worked for GE until his retirement many years ago.  He loved to hunt and fish. He had many stories of his adventures and no one knows if they are true or not but for sure they were great. Later in life he still enjoyed fishing but loved his old westerns and game shows.

His wishes were to not have any services.  Interment will be private.  Arrangements are entrusted to Traub Funeral Home, Central Square, 315-668-2688.  In lieu of flowers please teach your children to fish.
