Amos Martin Webb, 72, of Palermo, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at home. He was born in Gouverneur, NY to the late Robert Donald and Charlotte Dana Webb. He retired from New Process Gear as a Manufacturing Engineer after 38 years of employment. He served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1971. A proud Vietnam Veteran, he rode with the Blackhorse Troop of the 11th Armored Cavalry.
Throughout his life he enjoyed playing poker, hunting, ice fishing, trap shooting, camping, canoeing and riding his motorcycle. Amos will forever be remembered as a man who always helped his neighbors, friends and family. He was an especially devoted husband and father.
Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Michaelene Lalik Webb of Palermo, NY; two children, Amos Michael (Samantha Meakin) of Tucson, AZ and Hayley Jane Webb of Palermo, NY; a sister, Joyce (George) Cico of Virginia Beach, VA, and a brother Stanley (Sherry) Webb of Pulaski, NY; nieces: Dawn, Harley, and Esther and nephews: Curtis, Nathaniel, Mitchell, Ryan, Wiley, Bradley and Cody.
Calling hours are from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, December 17 at Traub Funeral Home, Inc., 684 N.
