It is with profound sadness, that we announce the passing of Anna M. Baum on Saturday, December 25th 2021. She was the beloved wife of Russell G. Baum, and mother of sons Michael, Corey (Gidget), and Rusty.
Anna was known as “Micki” to her family and friends.
She was born on a cold, snowy day in December of 1943. Her parents were Earl Mosher and Dorothy C. Mosher. She had one older brother, Willard.
Micki attended APW schools, and graduated in 1963. That same year, she began working at G.E. (building7). Micki married her husband Russell in 1965. Together, they raised their 3 sons: Michael, Corey, and Rusty at their home in Caughdenoy.
Micki was employed at Sunny Days Nursery School for over 25 years. Being a teacher’s aide at “Sunny Days” was her favorite job. The students brought Micki a lot of joy, and she formed many treasured friendships among the staff.
In her retirement years, Micki enjoyed working in her flower gardens, and decorating for various holidays. She was a talented cook, and knew how to make every occasion special.
Micki loved to have friends stop by for a chat, whether it was in her cozy living room or beneath the shade trees in front of the house, on warm summer days.
Micki adored her grandson Cody, and granddaughter Kayla. Spending time with her great Granddaughter Mariah, and great grandson Damon brought much happiness. Her great grandson Anthony, sadly, passed in 2017.
Early in the morning on Christmas day, Micki slipped peacefully from this life. Her family will forever cherish the memory of the laughter and love that we shared with Micki, only several hours earlier. Micki leaves behind her adoring husband Russell, eldest son Michael, middle son Corey and daughter-in-law Gidget, and youngest son Rusty.
She is also survived by her cousin Dale Chapman, niece Cheryl Weaver, and nephew Richard Mosher.
Grandchildren Cody and Kayla will forever cherish the memory of their much loved “Nonnie”, as will her great grandchildren Mariah and Damon. Micki’s “grandcats’ Robin and Dove miss her very much, too.
A Most heartfelt “thank you” to all of Micki’s relatives, friends, and neighbors who have comforted our family with their kindness and prayers.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, December 31, 2021 from 2- 4 PM at Traub Funeral Home, Central Square.
A Spring Burial will take place on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 11 AM in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery.
