Arlene M Aud July 17, 1939 - May 1st 2024
Born July 17, 1939 to William and Marion Redhead (Besanson) of Palermo and was one of eleven children. Arlene was a single parent who diligently worked and commuted to and from Syracuse every day (Rain/Snow/Shine) till she retired from the Cook Insurance Agency of Syracuse. From that point she resided at Silver Rock Mobil Park in Phoenix, NY.
Arlene was an avid gardener and enjoyed her flowers very much. Her yard was her prized possession and every spring she would become so upset that the moles from the winter reeked havoc upon it.She was an avid cookie connoisseur and loved to bake them. Arlene always made sure that all her friends and family received plentiful amounts of different types and flavors around the holidays. She was also an avid Syracuse Basketball and Football fan and would always stop what she was doing to sit and make sure to watch and root for her favorite team. Unfortunately, the hands of time were not as forgiving and allowed her to continue the things she loved to do.
Arlene was predeceased by her Father, William (1958); Mother, Marion (1993); Brothers, Willard, Robert, Arnold, Boigel, Ronald and Charles; also Sisters, Helen (Miller), Marguerite (Peggy) (Bieganowski), Doris (Nieczkowski). She is survived by her Sister, Berniece (Pittorf); Son, Kevin (Kristine) of Palermo; and Granddaughter, Elizabeth of Palermo. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
