Arnold J. “AJ” Herrington, 67, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at home with family by his side.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a date and time to be determined.
Arnold was born to Stephen and Daisy Herrington on November 30, 1958 in Fulton, NY. He married Terri Mudge on December 30, 1989. AJ was an auto mechanic, later working as an MEO for the Town of Palermo Highway Department. He also dedicated over 20 years as a member of the Marathon Fire Department.
AJ was a dedicated husband, father, and grandpa; family was the center of his life. He was willing to help anyone in need, and he always went above and beyond. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time.
Besides his parents, Stephen and Daisy, he is predeceased by his siblings; William, Jerome, Leon, Janet and Mark.
Surviving is his loving wife, Terri, his children, Jennifer (Terry) Leete of DeRuyter, NY, Michael (Kristina) Herrington of Canada, Todd (Alexis) Herrington of Palermo, NY, and James Herrington of Yankton, South Dakota, his siblings, Arthur (Hope) Herrington, Alvin Sr. (Cindy) Herrington, Patricia Sawyer, Sharon (Jim) Dexter-Kelso, JoAnne (Alan) Stevenson, and Eileen (Mike) Connolly, his 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, as well as other extended family and friends.
