Aunamarie Mae Lynn Mahnken, 12, passed away with her family by her side on Thursday April 03, 2025.
Visitation will be held at Traub Funeral Home in Central Square on Thursday April 10, 2025 from 4:00PM - 8:00PM. A sharing of memories by Auna’s family will take place at 6:00PM. Those coming to pay their respects are encouraged to wear purple; her favorite color.
Aunamarie’s vibrant smile and brave spirit has touched so many lives both far and wide. She will be forever remembered by her community, and by those she helped give the gift of life through organ donation. Auna was lovingly commended through an honor walk at the hospital.
To know Auna was to love her sweet and sassy self, her bright, colorful soul, and her kind heart. She loved to make art, watch Tik Tok, and paint gel nail sets. She had a natural talent and began making press on sets for others. Auna was interested in studying cosmetology, and strived to one day be an esthetician. She was colorful, spunky, and known to always be listening to music or dancing. She was smart, she was creative, and she was beautiful inside and out.
Aunamarie is survived by her parents; Ashley and Paul Mahnken and her grandparents; Pam Salisbury, Brian Salisbury, Tammie Bratcher and Kevin Bratcher, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She is predeceased by her grandfather; Paul V. Mahnken.
