Barbara Nadelen Obituary
Barbara A. Nadelen, 72, of Hastings, passed away at home January 25, 2021.
Barbara was born in Watertown, New York, June 11, 1948. She graduated from Immaculate Heart Central High School in 1966 and worked for Penn Traffic for many years. She retired from Bolton’s Pharmacy in Watertown.
She lived in Baldwinsville until 2006 when she moved to Hastings, New York where she loved to quilt and spend time with her family.
She is predeceased by the love of her life of 47 years, her husband, Paul.
Barbara is survived by her children Stephen (Amie) Nadelen, Sandra (Jeff) McCann, and Stacey (John) Houghmaster. Her siblings: Peggy (Marck) DiStefano, Patti (Kevin) Signor, Joe (Michelle) Vallelunga and many nieces and nephews.
Her pride and joy were her six grandchildren, Joey, Kayla, and Daniel Nadelen, Ashley (Ross) Maxam, Jonathan McCann, and Conner Houghmaster and newest great grandson, Samuel Maxam.
Mass service will be held Monday, February 1, 2021, 6:00 PM at St. Rose Of Lima Church, 409 South Main Street, Syracuse, NY 13212.
In lieu of Calling Hours, A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the ALS Association or Hospice of Oswego County.
