Carol Cooper of Manlius, New York went home with the Lord at the age of 91 on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Carol was born and raised in East Syracuse New York, and was married to Taylor Cooper of Fayetteville New York. She is survived by 3 children, 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild; two brothers; a cousin; several nieces and nephews.
Carol was a valued asset to her community. She was a member of the Manlius Methodist Church serving in various roles. Carol became president of Ernst and Cooper Insurance Agency following the passing of her beloved husband in1978, and continued until retirement in 2001; being a member of the Businesswoman’s Association. She was highly involved in the Manlius Chapter of Eastern Star accomplishing posts as Matron, Ruth, treasurers’ duties, and was part of necrology committee right up to her passing. She loved to travel all over the country with the Eastern Stars, family, and oversees with her friend Marilyn. She was dedicated to provided help in serving others and her family. She cherished her family, and was such a blessing to their lives. She was an amazing woman, matriarch of her family, that would do anything for her family and friends. There are no words that can express how she will be missed, and no one will be able to
take her place in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her!
A calling hour will held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00am with services to follow immediately at 11:00am. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens in DeWitt, New York.
