Carol Ann Minor

Carol Ann Minor, 82, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025, after a brief illness, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born September 15, 1942, to the late Leeward LaCombe and Elizabeth Allen (Dahl) .

When her kids were younger, Carol was the Brownie/Girl Scout Leader of Orwell. Carol also drove school bus for Sandy Creek School District for several years, was employed by GE for a few years, and was a homemaker. Taking care of her children for many years.

Some of her enjoyments in life were listening to Elvis & George Thorogood, baking her delicious cakes, playing at the casino, going to the beach and spending time with her dog Capone. Carol had the greenest of thumbs and could keep any plant alive.

In addition to her parents, Carol is predeceased by her husband Robert Minor; son, Kevin Orr; her daughter, Mary (Richard)VanHeesch; and her brother, David LaCombe.

Survivors include her brother, Mark LaCombe; children; Michael (Andrea) Minor, Jennifer (Patrick) Pappa, and Rebecca Minor; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and    nephews; along with the extended family of her long time companion, Bill Mattice and his daughter, and Carol’s caregiver, Billie-Jean Hollis.

Calling hours will take place on Sunday April 13 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at Traub Funeral Home in Central Square. A funeral Service will follow immediately at 3:00pm.
