Carol A. F. O’Dell, 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 03, 2025.
Carol was born in Syracuse to the late Arthur and Grace Abenanty on October 25, 1935.
She married Arnold “Tony” Frascatore Sr. on July 31, 1954 in Syracuse. Carol and Arnold spent over 25 years together, and she went on to marry Benjamin “Bud” O’Dell who passed away in 2015.
Carol was a stay at home mom and homemaker in her early years. She was featured in True Story Magazine in the late 1950’s for her famous pizza pie. She loved to bake, and everyone always looked forward to her Italian dinners and Christmas cookies.
She was a woman of faith, and an active member of the North Central Assembly of God in North Syracuse. She spent many Sundays teaching Bible Study and attending church with her husband Bud and grandson; Jon.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her first husband; Arnold “Tony” Frascatore Sr, as well as her second husband; Benjamin “Bud” O’Dell and a great grandson; Joshua.
Carol is survived by her children; Jim (Lee) Frascatore, Mark (Diana) Frascatore, Arnold Frascatore Jr. and Maryann (Bill) Shanahan, her sister; Sandra (Bob) Fusco, half sisters; Linda, and Nancy (Bob); 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and even a few great great grandchildren, as well as many cousins and nephews.
Calling hours will take place at Traub Funeral Home in Bridgeport, NY on Wednesday April 23, 2025 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM. A Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home on Thursday April 24, 2025 at 11:00AM, with a graveside service and burial immediately following at Woodlawn Cemetery in Syracuse.
