Catherine M. Huddleson

Catherine M. Huddleson, 72, of Canastota passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 with her loving family by her side.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who touched everyone deeply with her generous and caring heart. She passed away very unexpectedly.

Catherine was born in Beaver Falls, PA to the late Kenneth Winters, Sr. and Eleanor Rosensteel. She worked at Oneida Molded Plastics before retiring. She enjoyed gardening, reading, puzzle books, long talks with her family, and playing with her great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Catherine was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph Winters and Fredrick Winters.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Larry Huddleson, Sr.; her children, Larry Huddleson, Jr., Veronica Barricella, and Billie Jo Joseph; her grandchildren, Marnique (Jamie) Cosco, Melissa Barricella, Sasha Brunson, Tani (Joel) Large, Alexandria Barricella, Nicholas (Sarah) Barricella II, Ann Marie Joseph, and Nicholas Joseph; her great-grandchildren, John Wilkins IV, Darren Brunson, Caleb Ngwainmbi, Gabriella Cosco, Derek Huddleson, Amelia Cosco, Jensen Large, Dominic Clark, and Jerrik Large; her siblings, Kenneth (Liz) Winters, Jr., David (Danielle) Winters, Marlene DiStefano, John Winters, Leaonard Winters; and many loving nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 27, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Traub Funeral Home, Bridgeport. The family will have a private service following. Catherine will be laid to rest in Sylvania Hills Cemetery, Rochester, PA on August 7, 2020 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to the Paralyzed Veterans of America or the Wounded Warriors Project.
