Charlene Marsello Obituary

Charlene M. Marsello, 72, passed away peacefully in her home on April 11, 2022. She was the widow of Guy (Tom) Marsello. They shared just shy of 44 years of marriage together.

Born in Herkimer, NY, on October 31, 1949, Charlene was the daughter of Rita and Howard Foertsch.

Charlene was retired from her job at R.H. Schaub and Associates, where she was employed for 30 years. Prior to that, she was employed at Reymore Chevrolet.  She was a Boy Scout leader, and a member of The Lioness Club of Central Square.

Charlene enjoyed fishing, camping, and league-bowling, and had been known to run a pool table.

She will be remembered for her great sense-of-humor, fierce independence, strong work ethic, and her love of slot machines.

She was extremely passionate about rescuing animals from shelters, giving many a loving home.

Charlene is survived by her brother, Peter (Jackie) Foertsch; her children, Suzanne (James) Marsello, Julianne (Micah) Marsello, Joseph (Trish) Marsello; her grandchildren, Thomas (Heather) Moody, Cameryn Williams, Zion Belair, Sophia Belair, John (Jill) Kelly, James (Holly) Kelly, Tricia (Kayla) Kelly; her great-grandchildren, Wyatt Boyzuck, Carson Kelly, Cole Kelly; and many nieces and nephews.
