Clarence Louis “Lenny” Leonard Jr. passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, with his loved ones by his side, after a brief illness.
Clarence was born to the late Clarence Louis Leonard Sr. and Hollise Doris (Beebe) Leonard on May 4, 1942.
Clarence graduated from Paul V. Moore High School and went on to serve is country in the United States Air Force. He then went on to work at Carrier Corporation until his retirement. Clarence married his wife Brenda in 1968 and spent 57 years together.
Some of his enjoyments in life were fishing, whittling, listening to books on tape, taking scenic drives, and spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Clarence is predeceased by his son, Matthew John Leonard; brothers, Melvin “Butch” Leonard, and Garry Leonard; sister, Pamela Tuff; brothers-in-law, Norman Harrington, Donald Phelps, Lawrence Russell, and Larry Adams; sister-in-law, Dianna Leonard; along with his in-laws, John Seth Russell and Joyce Elvington Russell.
Clarence is survived by his wife, Brenda Leonard; daughters, Tammy (Michael) Wilkinson, and Virginia “Ginger” (Christopher) Cook; sisters, Linda Phelps, and Katherine Harrington; brother, Toby (Denise Hibbard) Leonard; brothers-in-law, Charles Tuff, and Michael (Felice) Russell; sisters-in-law, Denise “Dee” Babcock, and Marilyn Adams; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will take place on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Traub Funeral Home in Central Square from 12:00pm – 3:00pm, with a funeral service following immediately.
