Darlene “Dar” Clark,71, of Phoenix, passed away with her husband by her side on September 28, 2021. Darlene was born in Fulton, NY on July 6,1950 to the late Harold and the late Vivian (Richer) Durant.
Dar was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Whelsky and the father of her children, John Fredette, Jr.
Dar graduated from G. Ray Bodley High School in Fulton in 1968. Dar worked as Manager at Bombadill’s Tavern and retired as Canteen Manager of VFW Post 5540, both in Phoenix. Dar loved her family. Her passion was loading up her camping trailer and heading to Tug Hill or the Adirondacks camping surrounded by her family and friends.
Dar is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Bradford; children, Jolene Fredette of Arkansas, John Fredette III, Tammie Fredette, and Francene Fredette, all of Fulton; step children, Erin (A.J.) Ashby, Colleen (Bo) Giddings, Emily Clark, and Michelle (Jason) Dunn, all of Phoenix; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren, and many friends and relatives.
At Dar’s request, there will not be any formal services, however, her family will have a Celebration of her life on October 9, 2021 at 2 PM at Bombadill’s Tavern Pavilion, Phoenix.
