Darrell J. Schiebler, 73, of Kirkville, left us on October 30th, to join his bride Susan of 51 years.
Darrell attended Chittenango Schools. He started an excavation business with his best friend, called D + D Excavation. When they closed it down, Darrell joined the Teamsters Union and started driving trucks. Later on, he joined the operating engineers and retired from R.H. Law Excavating.
He is predeceased by his wife Susan, his mother Erma and father Earl, his brothers – Rolland Duane, and one sister Dorothy.
He is survived by his sisters, Marlene Falsy, Dawn (Terry) Stone, Sandra (Donald) Worden. Along with many nieces and nephews.
Darrell and Sue built three classic cars. They traveled near and far to a lot of car shows and never came home without a trophy. Darrell also loved to play golf anytime he could and was a left hander that played right-handed so he could kill the ball and was second to none.
Calling hours will take place on Friday, November 3 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Traub Funeral Home Inc., 7975 Route 31, Bridgeport, NY 13030.
