David Darby Obituary

David “Mike” Darby, 68, of West Monroe passed unexpectedly on September 30th 2021.

David was born in Syracuse and was the son of the late James F. and Schatz T. Darby. He was predeceased by his brother James W.; nephew James A.; and nephew Michael P. Darby.

David is survived by his daughter Jessica; granddaughter Avery; brothers Kevin, Brian, Dennis and Alan; and several nieces and nephews.

David was a kind, quiet man, who enjoyed fishing, and Nascar. He was a long-time forklift operator for Americold Logistics, before retiring. He was a talented mechanic and carpenter, and had an early passion for motorcycles. He was a beloved father, brother, and grandfather and will most certainly be missed.
